BMW M5 4.9i Saloon 4dr Petrol Manual (346 g/km, 400 bhp)

This E39-generation BMW M5 is a very capable and desirable modern classic super saloon, offered with a Full folder of maintenance history. Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 4.9-litre V8, delivering around 394bhp to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows a relatively modest 75,745 miles from new. This M5 is finished in the attractive and lesser-seen shade of Avus Blue, over a two-tone black and Silverstone 'Strauss' leather-trimmed interior, featuring brushed aluminium-effect trim. It rides on a set of 18-inch 'Style 65' alloy wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Technicians at Classic Heroes carried out another annual service in April 2020 at 67,873 miles, which included an engine oil and filter change, the anti-freeze renewed, and new air and pollen filters. Technicians at Classic Heroes carried out an annual service in September 2018 at 61,208 miles, alongside carrying out major maintenance, including the front brake callipers being rebuilt, the brakes bled, excessive corrosion on all four jacking points cut out as required, with new sections fabricated and repairs performed, surface corrosion on the floors, sills and chassis legs attended to, a wing being treated with Dinitrol rust inhibitor and zinc primer, and both sills being stripped down completely, primed, stone chip protection applied, and repainted.
